Computer Literacy

Computer literacy is defined as the knowledge and ability to utilize  computers and related technology efficiently to do minor day-to-day activities (email, internet, research, etc.)  Computer literacy also refers to the development of a comfort level in the use of computers and applications associated with computers.  Another valuable component is understanding how computers work and operate so they are less mysterious.

Computer literacy is considered to be a very important skill to possess in developed countries.  Employers want their workers to have basic computer skills because companies are very dependent on them to conduct basic tasks.  Having knowledge of skills in computers also gives people access to higher paying jobs.

Computer Literacy classes will begin in the spring of 2019. Please check back for a complete schedule.
