ASSETS Senior Employment Program (Maybe you should have another link?)

VACCEB collaborates with the City of Oakland to encourage employment among the aging community. The city’s ASSET Employment Opportunities Program offers free job placement and training services to seniors. The Program is a one-stop career resource center that provides personalized guidance in job searches, and training in computer literacy, customer service, general office procedures, keyboarding and interpersonal communications to help seniors make the transition to full or part-time jobs.

To qualify for this program, seniors must be ages 55 or older, live in Alameda County and meet the Program’s income guidelines.
