Refugees & Immigrants

VACCEB is a strong partner and supporter of advocacy and education programs that will empower the refugee and immigrant communities of Alameda County. As a member of the East Bay Refugee Forum, a coalition of over a dozen agencies serving the unmet needs of our community, VACCEB provides a variety of programs to ensure a sustainable and healthy integration of cultures, languages and traditions.

Among our services for the refugee and immigrant communities are monthly legal clinics, ESL and citizenship classes, a domestic violence and behavioral health hotline, health screenings and workshops, case management, senior services and activities, referrals, and computer literacy classes.
